While many were enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with their family, Garrett Krause from MineralVest, flew to Conakry, Africa to meet with top brass from the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Guinea. Some of the people our team met with are Soriba Bangoura who is the Mining Infrastructure Advisor, Mohamed Lamine SY SVANE who is the Director General from Center of Promotion and Mining Development, and Nfaly Sylla the assistant to the Minister of Mining.
During this meeting we:
· had a meet and greet with the Guinean government and mining officials. It was nice to finally put a face to the many points of contact exchanged over several months.
· discussed a logistics plan to move the bauxite from the mine to the port. The great news is there is a railway that runs right next to our concession. Our job will be to tie into the rail to move and export our mined resource.
· discussed the acquisition of 2 other bauxite concessions. As we launch MineralCoin based off the initial concession, we will continue to acquire other concessions and plots of land containing valuable minerals. Once we begin mining, the Guinean government will release 2 more concessions nearby. These plots are currently held on our behalf.
